Opening hours of the Consular Section during winter holidays season

Dear Clients,

Please be informed that from the 29th of December 2023 - except for cases of urgent emergency involving a Hungarian citizen - the Consular Section will be closed.

The last date for visa applications at the satellite visa application centres of VFS Global (Guangzhou, Shenzen, Xi’an, Shenyang, Wuhan, Jinan) is the 15th of December 2023. The last date for submitting visa applications at the Beijing centre of VFS Global is the 20th of December, 2023. After this date, the Consular Section of the Embassy of Hungary will accept visa applications until the end of the year, with prior appointments. Please send your enquiries and appointment requests to visa.pek@mfa.gov.hu.

As of the 02nd of January 2024, the Consular Section and the offices of the external service provider (VFS Global) will be open for business as usual, appointments can be booked on the following pages:
