In recent years relations between Hungary and China has been developing with utmost dynamism resulting in the highest level and quality in history. Besides the deepened bilateral relations Hungary became a front-runner and essential player in China’s cooperation with the Central and Eastern European region and Europe as a whole. I can proudly consider myself and my colleagues at the Embassy important contributors to this achievement. It is my pleasure to support the progress of the Hungarian-Chinese relations as ambassador at such a prominent period.

The Embassy and Consulates General of Hungary in China are pleased to announce that the VFS Global Visa center in 14 cities in People’s Republic of China will be launched on 16th August 2019, as an authorized external service provider receiving Schengen visa application on behalf of Hungary. For the convenience of our clients, we will introduce bank card payment at our Consular Section. Immediately after the setup of the POS terminal, our clients will be able to use their bank cards. From April 1st this will be the only form of payment for consular services.Read More

Attention! Advertisements on „Hungarian Government Bond Programs” The Hungarian Investment Immigration Program has ended at the end of June 2017. Currently, there is no official bond-based Hungarian immigration program or any other immigration program supported by the Hungarian Government. Interested investors are advised to pay special caution to companies advertising such “official programs” and double-check the proposed scheme.
